The Low Carb Pizza Chip Recipe

A pizza chip has become a famous recipes since the movement towards low-carb and keto diets. A number of blogs are producing these keto chips and they have become a very fun snack for people on the diet and even those that aren’t. The chip is mostly made out of pepperoni and cheese any ideas to cook these ingredients on high so that the entire item becomes crispy like a chip.

To start this recipe begin with the cheese that’s lower in moisture content and work with a second mixture of cheese that you could melt on top. Parmesan is an excellent place to start and you can use mozzarella as a secondary gooey cheese that you can put on top of the chip. You’ll also need fresh pepperoni to create the pizza taste and seasonings as required.

Start with a sheet of parchment paper or a baking pan and begin by layering a 2 inch diameter Parmesan cheese along a small mound to build the base. Add a small amount of mozzarella on top to produce a bit of extra flavor. 

Place 2 to 3 small pepperoni’s around the top and then add the mozzarella cheese with a small pinch of pepper. Heat up the oven between 400 to 450° and then cook until the cheese starts to brown up around the edges which should take around 5 to 7 min.. 

After the chips are crispy you should be able to remove them from the parchment paper with a spatula. Remove the crispy chips and then enjoy this low-carb snack with a dip of your favorite pizza sauce. These are extremely quick snack that you can enjoy on a number of diets as a low carb alternative.
