How to Cook Beef Steak – A Quick Guide

How to cook beef steak! Medium rare is among the favorite of many modern trend eating foods in the western world. It is enjoyed by millions each and every day. In this article we will look at some of the best ways to cook beef steak, and you should be able to get some value from your money, too!

Firstly, let me tell you about the marinades. My favourite marinades for beef steak are mustard based. I think they taste fantastic. To make your own marinades simply combine mustard seeds, allspice and garlic, brown sugar, a little salt and pepper, and paprika. This makes a very tasty marinade that you can apply to the meat after it has been cooked and let it stand in your marinade for around half an hour.

Secondly, let us look at the cooking method. For medium-rare meat, cook the beef in a pan with a tablespoon or two of oil, add a little salt and let it cook gently. It may sound like a lot, but if you give it a try, I am sure that you will find that this method, so easy to do, actually creates some very juicy and tasty results!

Thirdly, let us look at roasting. If you want to make a juicy beef steak then you must roast it, I really cannot stress this enough! By roasting the meat over a hot fire you create a sort of caramelised flavoursome juice inside the meat, which is absolutely delicious. This juice adds a whole extra dimension to the taste of your beef steak and makes it almost melt in your mouth. Try leaving it on the cooker for around four or five hours to get that wonderful juicy juice, now that’s one good meal!

Then you can add your medium rare steak to the marinade (this is after you have cooked it in the oven for about two hours). Follow this up by placing the steaks on the baking sheet, brush with the balsamic glaze and pop into the oven uncovered. Check, and if necessary to cook the steaks in the oven again uncovered, basting frequently with olive oil as you slowly brown the beef in the oven. After about ten minutes to check, and remove the steaks, and place them on a plate, leaving the juices in. Put some butter on the plate too, this is to preserve the flavour of the marinade.

Finally, take two pcs of tomato paste and mix together until you have the desired consistency of sauce. Brush a couple of slices of white bread with this mixture and serve. This is certainly something you can taste and enjoy. The amount of marinade depends on what type of beef steak you are cooking. There are plenty recipes online that are so easy to follow, and contain only the essential ingredients.
